I have baby thimbleberries popping up all over - anyone want a thimbleberry?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

are they good?

In a pinch, the leaves of the thimbleberry are recognized as a handy "toilet paper". They are large, soft and non-irritating.

LOL

My bush set berries like crazy but I never got any. It is a very pretty bush, though.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

birds got em?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

No - the berries are like a collection of individual tiny bits and none of the set berries filled out all of the blips. But, as you noted, the leaves do make toilet paper and that would save money not to mention trees. LOL
