Does anyone know of an evergreen tree that resembles Araucaria heterophylla? I love how they look but cannot grow them here outside. It would have to be in mostly full sun and clay soil. I'll be disappointed if there isn't but I'm hoping anyway.
Norfolk Pine imposter
Some Abies have fairly similar crown shape. Abies fargesii might be worth a try if you can find it.
Resin
Cryptomeria japonica kinda has a look of a Norfolk. Abies grandis kinda has the "cake plate" look to it. Abies magnifica?
Thanks for those. I was going cross-eyed looking at evergreens.
