Thanks for the welcome everyone. My friend Dorothian steered me here. The two of us spent the afternoon potting plants for the Master Gardener plant sale. I learn a lot from her. I've been gardening for about 15 years and I really enjoy it. I only have a half acre lot which is frankly a relief from the 12 acres at my last house. That overwhelmed me. I
primarily plant perennials and my favorites are lilies, siberian iris, russian sage, peonies, and hosta. To me there is almost nothing better than digging in the dirt on a nice day. I'm looking forward to having more people to ask for advice.
