I would like to know what would go with Spirea " Pink Parasols " & Physocardus Diabolo they have a Juniper " Blue Star " and I do not like them any Juniper because the foliage is pickly and you cannot trim them to keep them at the size one would like to keep them at.
What would you recommend

If you're looking for a small blue conifer, how about a dwarf blue spruce?
St Mary's Broom and Thuem are two cultivars which are beautifully blue and stay compact.
Globe arborvitaes would be a nice shape with foliage (and evergreen) contrast. 'Hetzi' would stay around 2', 'Golden Globe' would be a good bright color but get larger, and of course 'Woodward' would eventually be larger (4'+). Dwarf blue spruces also would include 'Montgomery' (to 4'.. perfect little Christmas tree), and there is a blue form of dwarf Alberta spruce. Globe blue spruces are available low to the ground and also on a standard. Nice contrast.
