Sultry Mood

There are so many BI in bloom now, with yet more to come, but getting a good picture is really hard to do as the wind seems to always be blowing. But I had my macro lens in hard and grabbed a shot of this one. Xuling

In Windsor if I remember correctly you do get quite a bit of wind?

Yes, we are fairly close to the ocean so always seem to have breezes of varying strengths. Which is very nice on a hot day!! Xuling

Don't feel bad Xuling, it can be calm in our yard, but the minute I point a camera at a bloom of any kind, here comes the hurricane! I love the purple to pink tones in that Iris, very pretty.

Well gardening is teaching me patience, whether waiting for the plants to grow and bloom, or for the wind to stop blowing so I can get a good pic. But with electrical/mechanical things I have NO patience. Xuling
