Glazing Question

Morning all,
I have a question. I Made another box for a friend. It turned out beautifully. HOWEVER.. when one of the owners was grinding down a bump on the bottom.. a huge piece of the glaze from the top of the box just fell off. UGH!
So I brought it home and re-glazed it with underglaze.... QUESTION.....It was glazed and then I used my clear glaze to cover it. Since it has been glazed once WITHthe clear on top....and I Have now RE-GLAZED it.. do I still use the clear over top of the re-glaze????
