First Iris of the Year! Well, almost.

hey guys,
here is the first newer iris that i have had bloom this year. i did have a few blooms on the old, white, cemetary iris. this one was new last year and this is the first bloom i have had on it. unfortuneately, i had to move my entire garden last summer and the label got seperated. it was quite stunning in person with all the diamond dusting. also, it was a very nice sized bloom

Might be Clarence.

I'd say it was Clarence also, but ours has never bloomed. The coloring and beard look right. But there could be others out there that have the same coloring. I only have it because it was in a collection. :-)

My Clarence will be blooming in a few days, will take a photo and post it then.

Its very, very pretty. A great one for first bloom of the year.

thanks for the info guys. i does look like that one to me also. i will have to try and locate my tags and see if it matches. :)
