I'm thinking about buying a design program for my computer and was wondering if anyone could give me any recommendations of which one is best. I want to be able to design my own blocks and print out patterns with fabric requirements. A friend was just asking me this morning how much fabric she would need to make a simple block quilt from her daughters old clothing with white sashing. If I had a program I could easily figure this for her. What do you all use?
