Need beginner advice for redish Amaryllis

Denton, TX(Zone 8a)

When poking around the local big box home improvement store in early March, I ran across a bulb labeled "Amaryllis Garden Pink." I liked the picture, bought it and stuck it in the ground where my other bulbs are. It has now bloomed, and I don't know what to do next:

First, I don't know what you think, but I'd hardly call it "Garden Pink." Second, all the tips I have been able to find online are for growing indoors and getting it to bloom in winter. I don't really want to do that. I want to grow it outside with the rest of my bulbs which I do very little for. Will this be happy and blooming next spring here in North Texas? The border between USDA 7 and 8 goes right through my county, I think.

[Edit: Err, maybe even "reddish"]

You can leave it out there I believe. Make sure you fertilize it regularly, any normal fertilizer is fine. Follow label directions.

Corrections welcomed!

Can anyone ID the variety?

Thanks,
Carl
