any product you recommend instead of Pledge?

Just wondered if there is a better product out there to pick up dust. I had been using a magnetic type fabric that is supposed to help the dust cling, but I'm not sold on that either. Not that I was using the two together, as I don't think that would work well.
Have you tried the new pledge? I think? that is for all surfaces not just wood?
