I've been relocating my clematis from my other house to our new place and before I dig up 'Sweet Autumn' I want to make sure that I shouldn't take precautions.
For the past 3 years I haven't been able to enjoy this clematis because of the darn earwigs so... before I dig up should I spray with something?
I usually don't make it a habit of using pesticides but will do what I have to!
Not sure if they lay eggs in the soil surrounding the clematis or what.
Thanks,
Bonnie
( I didn't ever use anything before to kill them other than spray with a hose or shake and stomp because it was near my water lily pond and I didn't want to kill my fish)
