Ive two trellis' I want to put atop a two planter for clematis.
are there any clematis that do well in containers??
if so which ones??

Clematis advice Needed
Hi there,
I happen to have several clematis that are in containers and all seem to do well. One is 'General Skikoski' a medium true blue clematis, the other is Dr. Ruppel. In chosing your containers. Make sure they're large for clematis would prefer a cooler root zone. Also a light color container, so they won't attract/retain heat also helps.
read thru some of the threads here on the forum. musch commentary on that exists. many to most of them can do containers in your zone. also the web sites where you can order clems usually mention " good container choice" in the plant descriptions.
