What Bromeliad is this please?

This was being sold in a Bromeliad nursery shop at the Melbourne Flower Show. Do we have any bromeliad experts who can identify which variety please?

It appears to be an Aechmea which one I'm not sure as there are many cultivars. Hopefully someone here may be able to narrow it down for you.Good luck.

I kinda thought that too, and the flower is a little bit like Aechmea zebra. Its a lovely flower rob.

Maybe Aechmea tessmannii?

here is the one weedwoman means ...I know nothing about them but as she says it is a lovely bloom.

I think Aechmea Zebra tends to have striped foliage and the one in my photo was a fairly plain green - so Tessmannii may well be the best fit.

I found It!!!!!! Its Guzmania 'Loja'. I saw it at my friends house and its an exact match as far as I can tell.
