Watch the newspaper come the summer as the iris club in your area should and usually has a fanstatic rhizome sale where you might be able to pick up many of the iris you want....plus you will gain a wealth from knowledge from the club members.

I will have to check to see if there is one in my area. I live in a very small town - the closest city is 72 miles away. I will check with the ag office and see what I can find - Thank you!!

Also garden clubs in spring are a great way to get super deals, last year I donated about 100 one gallon pots of daylilies and they sold them with 3-6 fans in them for 4.00 and iris rhizomes were .50 each by color.

Keep a lookout on this forum about late June/early July. A lot of "horse trading" will be
going on as members dig and divide their irises.
