perrinial Sunflower

New Boston, NH

Has anyone had experience with these and where would you buy?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I put in Jeruselum Artichokes last year. I guess they could be considered perennial sunflowers as they are perennial and members of the sunflower family. They did fine last year and I am waiting for them to reappear - they just get really leggy and the flowers are small but I think that is offset by being able to eat the tubers.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Are you talking about helianthus gamekeeper? Wonderful plant. http://www.backyardgardener.com/pren/pg63.html

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i have one and it has not been a good performer although it was in poor soil that was amended in the past year so i am hoping for better results this year.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have a great one - can't remember the name. Gets about 7 feet tall and blooms late summer with bright yellow flowers.
