Thank-you. I'm glad to hear that it's something new to you, but I may be even happier to hear that you've overlooked all that clutter in the background. :)

I don't really know much about it, to be honest, but it would seem that's it's native to Central America. This was a captive bird at the Detroit Zoo.

lol. i was so focused on the bird that i didn't pay any mind to the background. i kind of pride myself on the fact that i've at least heard of most birds and animals and it shocks me into reality when i see something i've never known existed! plants, well, that's another story. there are many thousands of i've yet to discover. thanks again.
