How do I drill a med size hole in a paperweight?

I have about 50 paperweights, all in blues, I would like to drill a partial hole in them, just enough to attach them to a pole or pipe. I want to add them to my garden as part of some butterfly baths, yard art, etc..
Any Ideas??
