Ratibida columnifera 'Mexican Hat'

I've found these to be great companions to my Echinaceas and other coneflowers. The cones on these are very impressive. Do you grow these? I've also sown the red ones this year and look forward to them.

I actually grew some ratibida two years ago. Last year, I pulled them up before they could bloom. I discovered that I don't like plant that have thin stems because they tend for fall all over. I pulled up my cosmos last year for the same reason.

Mine didn't fall over. See how perky they are in the pics. The echinaceas also help to prop them up. They look good planted thick.
