I traded with a lady today for a few diff kinds of seeds. One of them was the Golden Chain Tree seeds. But she didn't have them labeled. There are some seeds that are yellow while all others are balck or brown. Does anyone know if the Golden Chain Tree seeds are yellow? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
qustion about Golden Chain Tree Seeds
Another qustion if anyone here knows about this kind of tree :) Since it's to late to plant them in the fall, would it be ok to plant them now, dureing the spring. I read on one site that it's ok to plant them anytime as long as they soak for 12 hours in warm water first. Does anyone know if that's true?
If the golden chain tree is the same as the golden rain tree, the seeds are black/brown. It is my experience that they sprout anytime.

Forget what I said, mine is golden rain.
If I remember right a golden rain tree has smal round black seeds. Easy to germinate.
I know there is a differance. I already have the golden rain tree. These seeds are suppose to be Golden Chain tree. Hopefully, she was correct at least. I will be so disappointed if they are just more rain trees :( Does anyone know how to tell the differance in the rain & Chain tree seeds? Thanks for all the input so far!
