I have a 400 gallon pond full of goldfish. The water is slightly green since I dont use a pump or uv sterilization. I wonder if the fish poop works as a good fertilizer. Also, would the green algae in the water act like liquid seaweed to help root growth. I would prefer to use the pond water to water my plants than city water.
Thanks

I have read that it is good water to use. Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly to let you know for sure.
See the following article. It should answer all your questions!

Hmmm. I knew the waste would be good but I always wondered about the algae. I will continue doing it. Thanks.
