A reminder

Today I did some housecleaning in this forum and tossed out some pretty off-color jokes and comments.

Like all our forums this one is guided by our Acceptable Use Policy: http://davesgarden.com/aboutus/tos/

1) Keep it clean
2) It should be original or you should have permission and give credit to the author.

If you're not certain whether your joke is "clean" or not, consider if you would tell this joke to:

a) Your grandmother or another older woman whose respect you seek;
b) Your pastor, preacher, rabbi or other religious leader;
c) Your company's senior leaders and the board of directors;
d) Your child's kindergarten class, the teacher and the principal

If the answer to any of those is no, then don't tell it here, either. We are a family-friendly site and we have a lot of parents, grandparents and teachers who trust us to keep things acceptable for a "general" audience. Not to mention there are still a relatively large (if quiet) number of adults who are offended by the crude language and sexual innuendo that frequently characterizes "adult humor."
