Rose Soap additives and colorants

Reading, PA

I'm planning to try pink clay as an additive and colorant for my next batch of double boiler hot process soap. When I made MP soap, I used varying shades of rose, pink, and red glycerin MP in the barely-pink colored shea MP as design. I don't want to use MP any longer...any ideas for design "additives/inclusions?" I thought of rose petals, but understand they turn brown after a while. Also, I could use varying shades of darker colored cold or hot process soap as "chunks." I want something other than swirls...any ideas? Here's a picture of my MP rose soap, so you can see what I'm after.
