The blooms are so lovely, even just the greenery is wonderful.I want to have it growing on the mound behind my waterfall of my little pond w/ fountain.I have seeds ,but they are soooooooooo tiny I have no idea on how to even sow or start them.Would love a few suggestions.

That is a very pretty plant!

Synda: Here's the link to Plant Files for information on this plant: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2909/

I've never sown seeds of this plant before but If they are tiny seeds, I would scatter them on top of the soil and lightly cover them with a very fine layer of potting medium. Good luck and I hope you gets lots of plants!

And another question I have is, what is the difference between Scotch Moss and Irish Moss?

(Zone 1)

Synda: I think they are one and the same, I think "Scotch Moss" and "Irish Moss" are just common names for the same plant. There may just be different cultivars like 'Aura' that was featured in Bloom of the Day.

Check them out in Plant Files: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher%5Bcommon%5D=&searcher%5Bfamily%5D=&searcher%5Bgenus%5D=sagina&searcher%5Bspecies%5D=&searcher%5Bcultivar%5D=&searcher%5Bhybridizer%5D=&searcher%5Bgrex%5D=&search_prefs%5Bblank_cultivar%5D=&search_prefs%5Bsort_by%5D=rating&images_prefs=both&Search=Search
