Been busy Lately

Clarkson, KY

Would you herd diapers? We are driving Moodene's herd of a thousand chickens out of Texas, into New Mexico and up Jay's mountain. In go-carts. It will be hard to get out of the go carts at the end of it. I'm not sure who's in charge of the chuck wagon. But are you in?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I'm in. can I drive????? Andre would eat the used diapers!! Yuk!!!

Clarkson, KY

Thought it was ride-your-own? Do we want two seater carts?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

yes you need two seater someone needs to lean out and grab the run away chicken and to stand up to guide the group.

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

LOL..

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

No, no go carts! I hate the noisy little suckers. And I want to saddle up my emu with one of Moo's custom buckstitched saddles...

There is absolutely no romance in a go-cart. Ugh.

I nominate Grow for the hoodlum wagon.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

How about if I hook my doggy to a cart???? Please I want to put the brat to work.

Clarkson, KY

You gotta be on eye level with 'em Jay!! Actually, what say we use those pneumatic cars from that guy in Australia...no noise.

I guess if you get your emu to walk really low...

Clarkson, KY

Now there's a solution. Like dog sleds only...mmm...only...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Need wheels and a brake PLEASE!!!!!

Clarkson, KY

Mm. We get the wheels, he gets the brakes. Have to work a bit on harness design...U-shaped bar like a mower handle, pull down in front of forelegs to brake, at the same time pulling steak from a baggie...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

The steak would work!!!!!!!! Or yell Chicken!!!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Yeah, doggy carts! I've got a pit here who loves to pull...
I'm not gettin' down on a chicken's level. Millions of years of evolution shall not be callously cast aside!

Cowboys rode horses... taller than a cow... so they could see over the bovines and keep track of things. And it's easier to rope from above than below...

Me and my emu (I need a name for this critter) are runnin', ropin', and rounding up the herd, lookin' stylish and photogenic. =0) The paparazzi will love it.

Clarkson, KY

You just like the tailfeathers.....

Name 'er Hank.

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

A well trained jujitsu Emu could keep em running in a group! Toe action.

The demon can bring up the rear in the wren driven cart!
.

You are all so quick!

It's all about image. Duh.

Hank does nothing for my romantic soul. How 'bout Jezebel?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Just do not tell the demon doggy that the birds are where his favorite treat comes form.
(it is the only way I can get him to go into the car!!!)

Clarkson, KY

I'd say there's enough romance in that...Better for the Great Chicken Drive(GCD) than Delilah...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Jezebel will work only if it is a female. Might give the poor thin a complex if male!!!1

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Yup, this is definitely coming together...
A cantankerous Wren with her hard pulling Andre the demon child pulling the chuckwagon...
Me and Moo on well-trained jujitsu emus riding herd...
Cussin' Grow on the hoodlum go-cart...

How 'bout you, Jenks? You up for ridin' herd?

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

In my experience, uncut males usually have something else on their minds besides work... and I have no idea how to neuter an emu, so it would be female.

So, Jezebel it is. A vigorous name. LOL

Clarkson, KY

oooh dear. the mind boggles. Jezebel, definitely.

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

Oh ya sure. Get me an Ayh-Rayab psycho emu and I'll be headin' em off fore they should make a wrong turn!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Now don't all males have one tract minds???? LOL

Clarkson, KY

What would Lawrence of Arabia looked like astride an EMU?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am speakless the picture in my mind of Dear old Lawrence on a EMU is to much. LOL

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

Hawt!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Hmmm, how 'bout an aussie psycho-emu? G'die, mate! Snowy River-ish...
Call it Sheharizad... Hari for short... would kinda describe her temperment. LOL

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

aussie and psycho? Hmmm. Clinton Anderson now instead of Lawrence....still hawt. ya.

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Uh-huh. I googled him... At least he's closer to your age! LOL
Emus, being from down under, do the aussie number. Veeery rugged and photogenic! =0)

(Zone 7b)

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

He could talk less.....

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Oh no, we're just picking out our emus and naming them...
we can't go anywhere til Moo comes up with hats!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Nope we're still planing jump on in.

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

Nope! Going to get the cats in! BRB

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Jenks is just showing us that uncut males are not the only ones easily distracted...

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)
