fragrant vines for zone 10

lahore, Pakistan(Zone 10b)

hello,

can someone recommend me some fragrant vines for zone 10(India/Pak subcontinent) which are easy to propagate by seed. i am a beginner in gardening. i can provide full sun and i will plant in big container. Currently i have got following vines:
poet's jasmine
gardenia jasmine
jasmine polyanthum
jasmine nitidum
star jasmine
honeysuckle (i am not sure which variety it is)
wisteria (its 5 feet long, not flowering yet)
ipomoea Alba (moon flower)
Quisqualis indica (Rangoon creeper)

i know clematis won't work in my area. i tried mandevilla laxa but its flowers are not fragrant. any names would be welcome.

thanks,
Khabbab

Stephanotis would be on my list.

If you google "Flowering Vines", you will come up with much more information than you might need. There are many sites with descriptions and there are several seed sales sites!

Chichester, NH(Zone 5b)

Pakalana Vine - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/60783/

Corkscrew Vine - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1884/

Some of the passiflora's are fragrant

Stephanotis is nice too as Dutchlady said.

You could also try some climbing roses, some of them are very fragrant.

I'd suggest posting your question in the fragrant forum.....we're all fragrant nuts over there.

thanks for the suggestions. i am going for stephanotis and Phaseolus caracalla(Corkscrew Vine).

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Beaumontia Grandiflora is fragrant, although it's a very large vine...I believe it's origins are in India.

I just got off a clematis site and there it listed 7 clematis that are good to zone 11.....I am in 10, so this is important for me.

You can find them at www.homeofclematis.net

What I like about them is they are light weight.

I attached one.....they are Viticella Negritjanka, Viticella Alba Lux, Veronica's Choice, Rhapsody, Paniculata Terniflora, Lord Neville and Gillian Blades.

mmm...glad you posted those..I really like Clematis, but our list is limited here.

I would definitely put the Stephanotis on the list. The Beaumontia is lovely....and beautiful and.....grows too high for me to enjoy the scent!!!

Can i grow Viticella from seed?. Will it come true from seed or i will have to for cutting?
