Does anyone have trained sled dogs?

We have a husky we'd like to train to pull. We have a dog that (supposedly) pulls already, but the gentleman we bought him from said he's only a follower, not a leader, and he didn't know anything about training them. Does anyone have trained pullers or know where I might get in touch with someone who does?

We live 3 miles from my father, and there's a path thru the woods that connects our places. I thought it would be nice to be able to "mush" over there in the winter.
