Black Pearl

I was so pleased with my 'Black Pearl' this year. Three bloom stalks! What a rich, velvety red. (took this without the flash so it wouldn't wash out the color)

I have 4 Black Pearls just setting buds - anxious to see them bloom - such a pretty bloom!

I just love the velvety color. It's so different from the usual reds. I like them all this time of the year, but 'Black Pearl' is definitely my favorite.
