Our squirrels won't eat fruit...I've put out apples and orange sections a few times...they totally ignore them and just eat the peanuts, sunflower seeds and cracked corn...
Maybe down where it's warmer they eat the fruit more?

I was fixing me some little yellow squash for breakfast this morning and decided to put a few pieces out and see if anything would eat it...he gave it a try!! lol

I was wondering how the water kept disappearing in the bird bath. :-)
Ahhh...they have really appreciated the heated water bowl here. They use it everyday.
so logn as they don't leave any bars of soap layign around , or mini dirty twoels for ya to wash. LOL
I so mad at my squirrels right now even though they so cute. They have made a big ole mess of my daylily pots. with their buryign and un burying of nuts. acreas to use and they have to use my pots. I gott afidn a way to keep them out of them for sure.

I had all those nuts and seeds in mine...but I never once saw them or the chippies in the pots, ya know!!

Hadn't had much occasion to take pictures of my Red squirrel, He has been playing in the trees in my neighbor's yard. Couldn't come up with good shots. But he showed up today. when I went out to get a better shot, he went and hid behind this dead branch.
I thought it was so funny. he probably was thinking I didn't see him.
Here, he's standing really still, so I wouldn't detect any movement.
