CLOSED: Hawk building a nest

Puyallup, WA(Zone 8b)

Another bird I saw out by the lake today is this hawk. It kept flying to an electrical tower with branches so I think it's building a nest up there. It never got very close to me unfortunately. Anyone who can guess what it may be is totally awesome!

This first picture is the best one I got

I'm having trouble seeing details from the pics but in # 9 there is a red tail so I would say Red-tailed Hawk but with the white at the top of the tail it might also be a Harris Hawk.

Looking forward to hearing from Resin.

Yep, Red-tailed Hawk

I noticed the red tail in that picture as well, but thought it may just be a camera/lighting illusion. Wish I had heard it call - I love it's classic scream! Well I will certainly be paying attention to the electric towers to see if it really is building a nest. Maybe I will have my very own "raising Texas red-tailed's" heehee

Need to get a telephoto lens though!!
Thanks everyone
