grrrrrrr frustration

Morning all,
I Havebeen working on a new hand builing piece. I have a slab base then took 4 other pieces, hand carved each and scored and slashed bottoms of each piece andl also the base then put slip on each so they would stand on their own. The idea was to use it as a candle holder. PLace a candle in a jar in the center and the light would come thru the carvings. But two of my sides keep falling. I am ready to throw it against the wall.
