Daily Pics - Vol. 175

Melbourne, FL

That figures....I was debating about the two, Resin. One nice thing about losing some foliage on the Firebush due to the recent freeze....it opened up the bush a bit and allowed me to get that pic of the Painted Bunting. Normally he would have been covered by leaves and in deep shadows.

Even though I haven't been posting, as I've nothing to post - only Ospreys (LOL), I've continued to follow the threads and never cease to be enthralled and amazed at the fabulous birds everyone's seeing. And, might I add that I think you're very brave to go out into the cold, cold snow to take pix.

LOL Margaret! DH thought I was nuts when I hiked in the snow up to the brush piles yesterday! I was just so curious though as to what birds were eating the seeds and corn I had put out!

Here is a Fox Sparrow that was there who usually eludes me on most days.

OMG Rose. I want to come camp out at your brush piles. That can be the "rustic" room of your bed and breakfast.

that first sparrow shot is gorgeous, I love the light.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Thanks Marna...those brush piles are the neatest places to camp out...however I froze my fingers off yesterday and didn't last very long! I got my blind last night and hope to take it out today if the sun comes out. When you come to stay with me it will be your bedroom!! LOL!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

haha. Thanks. I see it doubles as an outhouse!

I think DH should build you a Shack up there. put in a little kerosene heater… generator, solar power, satellite internet… you're set
