HI: We are enjoying the cold weather in Florida, 27 deg last night colder tonight. We here that a lot of the northeast area got some more snow.
Got some plants to put in but will have to wait for warmer weather, if it warms up before we leave for the north or they will have to become house plants until we return again.
Running on Dial up, very slow if it works at all. Took 20 min to load up NE forum to make this post. New computer here has taken 4 days to get it to work at all on the internet. Getting better now, but still working on it. Phone lines here also not to good.
Will try to follow this string but may have to wait until we are back in NH next week.
Meet one of our neighbors, below
John and Liza

Cold In Florida
Yikes! J & L,
Don't think I'd invite him to a get-together. Hope it warms up a bit while you are down there.
Are you guys going to be snow birds or are you moving down there permanently?
Now, THAT's a much better neighbor. LOL
I like the second neighbor too!
Yep that second guy looks like he would be much more fun at parties.
The Pelican lives up the road at Lake Okeechobee, the BIG lake.
The other guy lives in our back yard.
Pictures where taken last Feb. Have not been able to download any pictures from the camera this trip.
Trying to attach a picture of sunrise out our back door, but not working.
John
Liza and John.........are you still down here? I can't recall your dates of coming and going and I had hoped we could get together. I have been leveled by vertigo all week......such bad timing!
Have you guys been having a good visit????
Back in NH, This computer is working will be posting later today.
John
love the bougainvillea.... they always caught my eye... great gardens!
Very nice. I enjoyed all the pics. Green and growing things, so nice, it must be a shock to the system to return to the view outside up here. Too bad there isn't a way to bring some warm back with you.
Things are lookin' good there, John and Liza. I like all of your plantings! I notice that you have some vinca (periwinkle). I planted a lot of it this year (my $ .88 bargains) because it blooms all year and looks like a perennial impatiens. It's a Florida mainstay and I really like how it survived so well while we were away. I'm sure you are itching to get back down here....how nice that you had some time to get to know your neighbors! Don't get windburned up there!! LOL
Louise
No!!!!!!!! LOL
pretty
VERY nice, John. I love your mix of colors in all of your gardens. Very cheery! Earl sounds like a great neighbor for you and Liza!!
