How to pot with daughter bulb attached?

I overwintered my amaryllis for the first time this year. The first one I potted up is already blooming and looks beautiful!

I just peeked at the rest of my "resting" bulbs which are wrapped in newspaper, and noticed that one has a small daughter bulb that is sending out a green shoot. The main part of the bulb, however, doesn't show any signs of green. Since the daughter part is so low on the main bulb, how should I pot this one up? Do I separate them? The daughter bulb is roughly the size of my thumb.

I think that daugther is kinda little, I would leave it alone and separate next year. Don't worry about offset position, pot it as usual. Offset will find its place naturally, so don't worry about dirt smothering it.
