I love Echinacea Pallida too, but I have to spray it with a fungicide every Spring. It seems that it hates too much rain in the Spring. Do you have this problem too? I took this photo of mine from a crazy angle. These plants have tons of blooms all at once and then they are done. I might try deadheading them this year. Do you deadhead these?
I am not a big fan of the skinny petaled varieties, but your pic is just lovely. Very dramatic.
