BOY...what a mouthful...aka Monkey Tail Plant. Fresh seeds harvested 1/10/09
Lovely ground cover plant under hostas and ferns. I have yet in all the years I've been growing these, have found very little info so following is from my experince.

Light shade, humusy, moist but well drained soil. Small ovately heart-shaped leaves(if that makes sense)of pale minty green foliage w/ metallic sheen, ocacsionaly tinted w/ pink. Blooms late winter in my greenhouse. Bloom spikes are brown and look like small skinny monkey tails that are interesting but I mainly grow them for the foliage. Easy from seed. Picture can be found in my seed starting journel. I was unable to copy and paste it to this post.

I am looking for aristolochia seeds "other than":
a.clematitis
a.elegans
a.frimabit(sp?)
a.galeata
a.tomentosa

US trades only...sorry

Peggy
