I have a Compaq Presario Desktop 3 years old. 4 weeks now, randomly shutting down. Making a loud whirrrring, spinning sound when doing too many tasks, will not run a virus scan, will not load the list on add/remove programs. I dont think its the fan, its way too loud. Hard drive? Any ideas? Thanks, GM
