Can't say this is a pretty bird, but will say it has great camoflage!!
It certainly has! It poses itself so that it looks like a dead broken off branch and becomes almost invisible.
These birds freak me out, but you are right about the broken branch...hard to see the bird.
Thank you for introducing me to this very interesting bird. I love camoflage!!
Wonder what it does if another bird mistakes it for a stump suitable for perching on!
