Amaryllis Virgin

Cedar Springs, MI(Zone 5b)

Grabbed a bulb, first one I've tried.
Grew like a weed.
It has 4 blossoms open now plus a 2nd bud.
Thye look like trumpet lilies.
Its suppose to be pink & white bi but its orange. :(
Have no idea what its name is.

I have no idea myself as I am new to amaryillis but it sure is pretty I like the way it kind of has the orange with the white running thru it.

Indianapolis, IN

I am definately not an expert, but I have one that is a dead ringer for it called "Nagano". It was beautiful last year. Just hope I can get it to bloom again this winter.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

hiya CR, welcome to the world of misnamed amaryllises. At least 20% of mine are not what the label says. I've given up on faithful record-keeping when it comes to hippies. I symphatize with those who do their own hybridizing. how infuriating this must be for them.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I agree vossner. I run about 20% mislabelled. But after they bloom the first season, I plant them outside, and the tags fade by fall. So I am always surprised, by what I have, when they bloom the next year.
