Grainy Photos

I used to print beautiful photos on my HP printer. I got a newer camera with higher resolution and when I print photos they are quite grainy?

Photo info:

3264 x 2448 Pixels
PPI = 72.000
RGB - 8 bits/channel
45.333 x 34 Inches

Any ideas why my 4x6 photos are so grainy. I have even used the noise reduction and no change. I also uped the PPI to 150 and they are still grainy?

Thanks for any suggestions.
