There's a huge update in my blog, with plenty of explanation.. but I'll summarize.
Chewie has gone off to an eventing barn, where he'll get plenty of rides from a confident groom, probably ending up in the hands of a very skilled rider eventually.
In trade, I acquired "Tidal Wave", aka "Ransom", an older Appendix 16.3H Dark bay gelding. He's been all over in show circuits, and from what I can find, has some pretty neat hunter & jumper results in his history. He's pretty awesome, and I'm anxious to get back home where I can ride again.
