PVC pipe frame for raised bed

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I'm considering making a raised bed, about 3 feet off the ground for a veggie garden out of 1.5 inch pvc pipe. My main concern is if it can handle the weight of wet peat based soil. The frame would be like monkey bars with containers on top. I thought of pounding 2" pipe into the ground at soil level and inserting 1.5" pipe legs inside those for support. That way I can remove the frame when needed, cap the 2" pipe and be able to run a lawnmower over the area.

Anyone see any problems with this?
