My sugar maple grew to 8 ft tall and never bloomed do you know if it has to be more than a year old?

herein lies a lesson i shall not soon forget . . . unless the Old Timer's gives me a break that is . . .

the plants which i harvested seeds from are not red-leaf hibiscus but red castor bean plants - - leaves look very similar, blooms and seeds entirely different . . . someone knowing better gave me a heads up and i was able to delete all the text from my posting but was not able to entirely delete the article from this discussion group . . . this puppy is
