I just repotted my first amaryllis bulb in damp soil. I read on the forum that it is best to wait a while before watering and fertilizing. About how long should that be?
Should I have done anything to the roots? They looked pretty healthy, but I'm not sure what to look for. I just put the whole bulb in the soil as it was.
When to begin watering again?
If the soil is still damp don't water. When the soil dries out then water well and WAIT until it dries out again.
