Clerodendron Bungei

Inland S.E QLD , Australia

I have recently found one of these and they are said to be beautiful and have a lovely fragrance.Anyone else growing one of these?

Very invasive over here. Spreads by underground runners. I am constantly pulling them up.

Hi budgielover,I know it won't be a problem here for me but I can see where you are coming from...you probably have a higher rainfall and more humidity than I do, quite a way inland from Brisbane and from all the info I have gathered it is not commonly grown here...I had to really search to find my plant which by the way I have growing in a large tub.Cheers

hi
If you keep it in a pot, try to put it inside a larger pot with no drainage holes. Trust me, it will send roots through the drainage holes and into the ground/ That's how mine started. LOL
