Running the Score in a Wine Bottle
When cutting wine bottles, I dip the scored end of the bottle in boiling water for about a minute, then dip it into a sink of cool water. The bottom of the bottle pops right off with a clean edge.
It was a tip from one of the readers... I have not tried it, but will tomorrow.
Has anyone here tried this? Seems easy enough, but I would wear safety glasses just in case some glass slivers fly.
