This is my first hippeastrum bloom this fall from a new purchase when I was on a nursery crawl with Boojum in Nov. This is 'Sweet Lilian' and she is just that ! Tidy smaller blooms with great color definition and form. I will take a better picture tomorrow. Many more to come soon. Nothing like an army of amaryllis fixing to explode. Patti

Hippeastrum 'Sweet Lilian'
Nice patty I like this one!!
That's a darling!
So glad you like it, Patti!!!
Thanks all, she is a sweetie.
Boojum, 'Sweet Lilian' has another stalk forming nicely. I love the size of the bloom and the perkiness of it. Glad I listened to you. I should have more of "our kids" blooming soon, though I wish they would wait until Jan. this year. I am trying to keep them from doing too much until after Christmas as we are not going to be here to enjoy them. I moved all of the ones that are showing tips to our cool north side living room. But I imagine that they will bloom when they want to, not when I want them to. Patti
Very true of course. Have a great trip to NOLA!
