I just watered my Brugmansia cuttings in pots yesterday and noticed that I have a gnat problem around the soil in several plants. All plants are thriving, but one was rotted in the soil. When I pulled it out, I noticed a few of these tan colored pupae lying on top of the soil. Upon further inspection, rooting around in the soil, I discovered these creepies were in every inch of the soil, all the way to the bottom of the pot. They are a very rich tan/orange in color and about the size of a piece of rice. Thanks
Please help me ID these bug pupae I found in a potted plant
no ideas guys?
Exactly which one, I have no idea. It is from a moth though. Can't find where I stuffed my entomolgy handbooks at. I get them in my yard too once in awhile.
