These are quite big, about a quarter inch. When I squish them they have orange guts. Don't seem to move fast or fly.
But oh-so-ugly!

Those orange "guts" are the eggs. That white fluted part is the egg case, so you can only guess how many eggs there are!!
Because they are so big, they are easy to see. I just pick them off, throw them on the ground, and stomp on them.
Thanks for your help, looks like that is just what it is. Yuck!
