I need a how-to DVD or book on cutting moulding

Would like to get DH a help guide for cutting crown moulding and also trim for doing furniture. He's pretty handy around here but can't seem to get the hang of cutting crown, said it's not just as easy as cutting a 90° I think is what he said. He's made some bookcases for us and since we don't have a router he's bought fancy trims and cut them to look like we've routered the edges but thing is they don't meet perfectly, he says it must not be a perfect 45° those use either.

Ideally I'd like a DVD you'd recommend as good and second choice, a book.

Any ideas?
