Fixing a broken candle

I have a candle where the wax is completely broken and the two parts of the candle held together by the wick. The breakage is about 3 inches from the top. It is a big church candle about 2 inches wide.
Is there a way to fix the break?
or can I just let the candle burn down to the break and then let it carry on?
Can anyone help me Please.
